Nevecia Terri-Lee Pecco with Clayton Goodwin

NEVECIA TERRI-LEE PECCO, a 23 year-old Londoner of Jamaican heritage from Highbury, first came to the notice of Caribcommx towards the end of last year at the Queens Luncheon put on for Caribbean, African and International beauty queens by the organisers of Miss Caribbean & Commonwealth, a pageant in which Nececia, herself, has competed twice, and she now the challenges of the present year with quiet confidence. She expects to start training for track athletics, in which she has shown aptitude in the short- and middle-distance races, shortly in the coming months. Nevecia believes that her targets cane be achieved through strength and consistency which will enable her to attain health and wealth and to bring all people with her on her journey. For that she knows that she will have to rely on herself and her own efforts, and is prepared to do so.

Nevecia explained that she would like to extend the boundaries of her experience beyond that of North London through athletics, in which she describes herself as being very competitive, modelling, acting and the social media. She said: “I’d rather be noticed for standing out (from the trends) and being odd rather than blending in with the crowd”. Ms Pecco regards herself as being observant – “seeing everything but saying nothing” – that provides living proof that there is hope for her generation as well as for the younger generation. “I don’t seek attention. I just seek happiness and peace”.  Nevecia hopes also to make a significant impact on social media, on which her contributions have been noted already. As the young lady says, the future is in her own hands and with strength and consistency she will succeed. Caribcommx looks forward to recording her progress.
