CARIBCOMMX – WE HAVE CHARACTER and WE HAVE IDENTITY, WE HAVE CONTRIBUTORS AND WE HAVE PROFESSIONALS TO ADVISE – AND WE WELCOME YOU TO OUR READERSHIP

Caribcommx is developing a team of contributors

Caribcommx has continued to progress – in spite of the occasional ill-health of the editor/publisher – and is beginning to develop its own features rather than to merely repeat items of news and opinion that may be already in the public domain. Caribcommx, in short, will have its own character. What does that mean? Some of the features are evident already. For example, as well as news tit-bits, we are publishing more in-depth interviews and character studies of people across a variety of activities who have achieved success in their profession. The purpose is that readers will understand a little more beyond the public profile and be encouraged by their example to develop in their own endeavours. Champions past, present and future.

Caribcommx is introducing, too, our own contributors with a special story to tell. These are not professional writers but those who through experience and interest have something useful to say. And we hope that readers will be able to identify with the contributors and appreciate their words. In order to made identification easier, wherever possible, images of the contributor, wearing our appropriate Caribcommx orange-black cap, sash or T-shirt with that of the subject of the interview/feature. At the moment that is mainly our editor/publisher Clayton Goodwin, but other contributors or advisers, will be introduced on a regular and progressive basis – we are hoping to achieve a team of eight to twelve.

You may have noticed the knowledgeable comments by Eric McClymont

Caribcommx will up-date its film and sound facilities – especially on the Home Page. There will be regular film-clips and we intend to have an in-depth interview or feature as the main theme. That will increase editorial scope, read identification, and technical capacity. We are examining the possibility of launching a WhatsApp group, initially for contributors and then, after a trial period, for readership. PLEASE read this blog regularly for advice and news of up-coming events and developments. At the moment we have difficulty in handling comments posted by readers – mainly because people with a political, religious or personality-quirk obsession – tend to jam up all social media outlets, but all are read, considered and, we hope, answered appropriately.

Wayne Alexander had this to say

Here is a reaction from former boxing champion Wayne Alexander:
“Thank you so much for this Clayton it means a lot, especially from a real old school boxing fan like yourself. GOD bless you”

Georgia Robinson (left) made this comment

And from Georgia Robinson:
“What a warm, nostalgic tribute to a personal memory with cricket, capturing both the brilliance of Rohan Kanhai and the author’s own lifelong connection to West Indies cricket. This shows how a single player’s style, charisma, and courage sparks a lifetime of admiration. Sporting heroes grow even larger in the retelling these stories across decades”.

Nicky Lodge

Also we are trying to contact former beauty queen Nicky Lodge is respect of this question:
“Do you know Mrs Doris lodge or my mom Mrs Cecilia lodge – richlodge1957@gmail.com”
